Booking with confidence
Every booking is covered. On both sides.
When you book either of our condos through Airbnb, the stay comes with AirCover — Airbnb's own protection for guests, and separately for hosts. Here is what that actually means, in plain terms.
For you, the guest
If something is seriously wrong, you are not stuck with it.
Every home booking on Airbnb includes AirCover for guests. If there is a serious problem with the home and the host cannot resolve it, Airbnb steps in.
If the host cancels
If a host cancels before check-in, Airbnb helps you find a similar place at a comparable price, or refunds you.
If you cannot reach the host
If there is a problem and the host cannot be contacted, Airbnb's team takes over and helps sort it out.
If the place is not as advertised
If the listing is significantly different from what was advertised and the host cannot fix it, you can be rebooked or refunded.
Rebooked, or refunded
Airbnb will help find a comparable place based on location, amenities and availability — or give a full or partial refund, service fees included.
What counts as serious
- The host cancels the reservation before check-in
- The heating does not work in winter
- The listing has fewer bedrooms than advertised
- It is a different type of home — a private room instead of an entire place
- A major advertised amenity, such as a pool or a kitchen, is missing
What it does not cover
- Minor inconveniences — Airbnb's own example is a broken toaster
Honest note: AirCover is there for genuine problems, not small annoyances. If something minor is not right in our unit, message us — that is what we are here for, and it is nearly always fixed the same day.
For us, the host
Why this matters to you too.
A protected host is a relaxed host. Because Airbnb covers the risks that would otherwise make a host anxious, we can welcome guests without hedging the place about with rules and deposits.
Host liability insurance
Covers a host's legal liability for bodily injury or property damage to guests or others arising from an event during a stay, subject to the policy's terms, conditions and exclusions. There is no cost to hosts.
Host damage protection
Airbnb's separate programme covering damage to the host's own place and belongings caused by guests. It is a protection programme, not an insurance policy.
Because these exist, we do not ask you for a security deposit, and we do not need a long list of house rules. Book, arrive, and enjoy the place.
The small print, honestly
What we are not claiming.
- AirCover is Airbnb's programme, not ours. We do not administer it, decide claims, or control its terms.
- Both programmes have full terms, conditions and exclusions that are not reproduced here, and coverage varies by country.
- Host liability insurance does not cover damage or loss to the host's own property — that is the separate damage protection programme.
- Cover applies to bookings made and paid through Airbnb. It does not extend to any arrangement made off the platform.
- Airbnb can change these programmes at any time. The figures here were read from Airbnb's Help Centre on 31 August 2026.
